Wilhelmsen group compliance reporting channel
We endorse the highest ethical standards and hold a strong commitment to achieving the right results the right way. Therefore, it is important that we have a channel where whistleblowers are protected and possible violations can be reported and dealt with as early as possible.
Regardless of the outcome of the case, a person reporting in good faith may not be disadvantaged in any way as a result of a report of a possible compliance violation
What to report?
All employees or third parties, whom the group has a business relationship with may at any time file a complaint or report circumstances that suggest compliance violations.
Reporting may be linked to:
- Antitrust (breach of applicable competition law)
- Accounting / financial reporting fraud
- Tax fraud
- Conflict of interest
- Environmental concerns
- Sexual harassment or personal misbehavior
- Health and safety violations
- Failure to protect privacy data
- The Wilhelmsen group governing elements and internal policies
Reporting process and anonymity
All complaints received will be taken seriously and will be handled in an appropriate manner.
All submissions are made via a secure online form. A third party supplier will process the complaint before it is received by the Wilhelmsen group’s compliance manager. The third party supplier delivers the electronic solution on secured lines and they remove all electronic evidence making it impossible to trace the source sending the form. Complaints will initially be handled by the Wilhelmsen group compliance manager, who will subsequently involve relevant parties in the investigation as required.
All submissions will be handled with confidentiality. When reporting a violation, you have the option to remain anonymous. However, it will be easier to conduct an investigation if you report your identity.
