Project management

The programme consists of two modules plus pre-work, aiming to improve your ability to plan and execute projects including instruction in WW's tools, templates, and techniques.

1. Purpose and objective
Our objective is to improve your ability to plan and execute projects that support the short and long term strategies of the WW group: in accordance with WW's project execution model, and using WW's standard tools.

2. Scope and content
This programme is divided into two modules plus prework.

Prework is an eLearning programme built on WW's project execution, model and an introduction to GIMS - General Information Management System. These eLearning modules are available from any PC with internet connection; you do not need access to WW intranet to gain access to the pre-work.

The first module (3 days), focuses on WW's project and portfolio management model. You will be involved in case studies and group work, in addition to hands-on utilisation of GIMS and projectplace.com. You will be given an assignment on which to work between the classroom modules.

The second module (4 days), focuses on applying the model in different types of projects. The programme ends with the evaluation of your project assignment.

3. Target group
This programme is suitable for both experienced and less experienced project managers, project participants; and anyone who needs to understand how to plan and execute projects; and how to use WW's available project tools.
