Bjørge Grimholt has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian school of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen.
Grimholt started his career in WW in 2003 as vice president WW Logistics. He moved to Wilhelmsen Maritime Services (WMS) in 2005 where he has held different positions in the management. Since October 2006 he has been vice president Market Development and Communication in WMS.
Before joining the company, Grimholt spent seven years working as shore manager with the Norwegian entries in Whitbread Round the World Race and Volvo Ocean Race. Over these years he worked closely with representatives from WW, being one of the team’s sponsors in addition to providing global operational and logistical support.
Grimholt will succeed Cecilie Stray (45), who has been appointed vice president Public Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility in WW ASA. She will further develop the group’s activities within these areas from 3 March. Stray will execute this role within the communication department.
