Silvija Seres

Experience: Silvija Seres is an independent investor, entrepreneur, and board professional with broad international experience in science, technology, and strategic business development. She has held leadership roles across global tech companies. Her career includes serving as Director of Business Management at Microsoft and lecturing in mathematics at the University of Oxford. She is widely recognised as a speaker and advisor on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and systems leadership.

Education: She holds a PhD and an MA in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford, along with an MSc and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Oslo. She has also completed the MBA programme at INSEAD and the “Sjefskurset” executive programme at the Norwegian Defence University College.

Current directorships:  Silvija currently serves on the boards of Ruter, Pexip, Defendable, and 4Subsea, and is also a member of several nomination committees, advisory committees and non-commercial boards.

Current election period: Re-elected as member of the nomination committee on 2 May 2024 for a period of two years. Has been member of the nomination committee since 22 April 2021.
