Kevin Martel

Kevin is WSM's Houston-based General Manager where he takes care of a fleet of more than 12 vessels. A naval architect by training from University of Michigan, he started his career in Virginia as an engineer for a reputable US navy service provider.

Kevin's 17-year career spans a breadth of expertise including surveyor, port engineer and program management. Prior to Wilhelmsen, Kevin has worked as a Fleet Director, primarily working with General Cargo vessels in the foreign and US Flag fleet.  Kevin has also held roles as a Port Engineer for container vessels and Senior Surveyor for class.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
