For 25 years, WSM has been providing third party ship management for gas vessels with some loyal and longstanding Clients in Japan. This special silver anniversary seminar celebrates our journey as maritime experts in the gas shipping industry. A special award ceremony will be held to commemorate our long serving crew and forward leaning topics will be discussed by our seminar speakers.

Carl Schou joined the Wilhelmsen group in 2005 as Crew Manager and worked his way to become President of WSM from 2008. With his seafaring background and maritime knowledge, Carl is opinionated and has a sharp eye for industrial changes.

 

 

Award Ceremony for long serving crew and speech

 

WSM will be presenting a special award to 2 long serving crew that has been in our gas crew pool for 25 years as a token of appreciation, followed by a speech from each crew.

 

 

Professional Handling of LPG Cargo Quality Issues

Sundeep Dhaliwal began his career with WSM in 1992 as a Jr Officer and became a Master at the age of 31 on a gas vessel - one of the youngest during that time. In 2002, he reported onshore as Vessel Manager and made his way up to his current position as General Manager for the gas segment. With years of experience on board and onshore, Sundeep has deep understanding in gas ship management.  

 

Hydrogen: A Fuel for the Future?

Having 40 long years of knowledge in ship design, technology, management and operations, Per Brinchmann is well-versed in all aspects of vessel autonomy. Massterly, a joint venture between Kongsberg Maritime and Wilhelmsen, is the world's first autonomous shipping company that will change the ballgame of the maritime environment. Per is also the Vice President for Special Projects in Wilh Wilhelmsen Holding.

 

IMO 2020: Preparation for Compliant Fuel and Challenges Ahead

Rajiv Nigam has a combined 34 years of maritime experience in ship and shore with WSM. He currently heads the technical services group in Asia as the center of excellence for technical ship management services which includes newbuilding supervision, dry docking and retrofiting.
