Directions for use

Navadan FreshHold is supplied in concentrated pails and drums; and should be mixed with fresh water before use.

Before applying, make sure the cargo hold is dry and dry cleaning has been performed. The dilution ratios between fresh water and Navadan FreshHold depend on the previous type of cargo, the amount of residues to be removed, and the condition of the hold. We recommend doing a small test to find the suitable dilution. Start by diluting between 1:9 and 1:2 to find the ideal dilution.

Apply Navadan FreshHold using the Navadan Ultimate Kit, Panamax Kit, or Essential kits to surfaces to be cleaned. On heavy deposits, Navadan FreshHold can be used undiluted.

Apply to one side at a time and let the product soak for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, using the Navadan Tornado kit, wash it down with water before applying it to the next side. Do not allow Navadan FreshHold to dry up on the hold surfaces. Repeat the cleaning procedure if necessary.

After washing down, always perform a final rinse with fresh water to avoid salt residues on the surface. Rinse the equipment with fresh water after usage and before storage. When in doubt, always consult Wilhelmsen's tank and hold cleaning specialists.

Important Notes: · Do not allow Navadan FreshHold to dry up on the hold surfaces. · Only use fresh water when mixing with chemicals. · Always fill in the fresh water first, then Navadan FreshHold. NEVER add water to acid, ALWAYS add acid to water. · When handling acids, be sure to wear safety protective gears (goggles, rubber gloves, rubber boots, and rubber clothings/aprons).
