Engine Room Simulator and Team Management (IMO 2.07) (ERSTM)
The course is conducted on Kongsberg engine room simulator in accordance with requirements of STCW convention 1978, as amended, A-III/1, AIII/2, B-I/12 item 73, B-VIII/2 of STCW code and IMO model course 1.40 and 2.07.

This course is intended to give familiarization of E/R simulator up to trouble shooting while simulating a real time scenario and train engineers about allocation, assignment, prioritization of resources, Effective communication, assertiveness and leadership, SA and team building.
Course Objective:To enable the participants to:
- Enable participants to understand the concept of Team
management. - Simulator familiarization and operation.
- Preparation of engine plant from dead ship.
- Importance and use of checklists
- Enhance trouble shooting skills and team building.
- Importance of effective communication
