Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding (WWH) reported an increase in total income and operating profit in the fourth quarter compared with the previous quarter. All business segments experienced higher income, partly due to non-recurring items.
Four new digital talents have started their traineeship with the Wilhelmsen group. They are the first wave of recruits to begin Wilhelmsen's 18 month digital trainee programme. The programme has been designed to strengthen the Group's digital capabilities and focus, providing recruits with hands-on experience within global digital projects.

Accession by Finland triggered ratification of The International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments (BWM 2004 Convention). It will enter into force on 8th September 2017, marking a landmark step towards halting the spread of invasive aquatic species which can cause havoc for local ecosystems, affect biodiversity and lead to substantial economic loss.
