During Ramadan, we deepened our commitment to the local community by supporting a children's welfare home in Sungai Buloh, Malaysia, which shelters 128 underprivileged children. Driven by our dedication and teamwork, we organized a series of activities to bring joy and support to the children during the festive period of Eid al-Fitr. Recognizing the challenges faced by the home, including worn-out facilities and essential repairs, we embarked on a journey to bring meaningful improvements to their living conditions.

To celebrate Eid, which marks the end of Ramadan, our team arranged a special shopping trip for the children to select their new outfits to be worn on the first day of the celebration. Wearing new clothes is a tradition observed during the Eid Celebration as it symbolizes a fresh start.

In addition, our team led a food donation drive to collect essential groceries and provisions for the home. Thanks to the generous contributions of our employees, we were able to gather an abundance of supplies and deliver them directly to the home's doorstep. 

After Eid, we hosted a celebration at the home, attended by our employees and senior management team. It was an action-packed and fun-filled event, with the children performing traditional Malay martial arts and acoustics to welcome all guests. Our employees also showcased their hidden talents outside of the office with their own performances.

In the weeks following the celebration, we sponsored upgrades to improve the home's living conditions, ensuring a more comfortable and conducive environment for learning and growth.

We are very pleased to have taken a hands-on approach by involving our employees in these volunteering efforts. These activities not only contribute positively to the children's daily lives but also enrich our employees' own experiences, creating a culture of empathy and giving back within the community. Beyond the celebrations, our refurbishment efforts have ensured the children now have a safer and more comfortable environment to call home.
