Cruise Fleet - Chief Engineer

- The Chief Engineer is in charge of the technical operations of the vessel
- In charge of safe management of engine room operations and maintenances
- Co-Ordinator for shipboard anti-pollution activities
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the capacity of Chief Engineer or other relevant experience from the Cruise Industry
- Valid class Chief Engineer license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended
- Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC)
- Good knowledge of PMS and inventory management.
- Great leadership skills
- Great communication skills
- Fluent command in English
- Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability
- Good references
Beneficial experiences:
- Experience from cruise vessels operating on international itineraries
- Experience from new built and/or site team or project work
- Experience in sailing under NIS flag
- BASSNET
- USCG, USPH knowledge.
- Fluent command in a Scandinavian language
