Cruise Fleet - Staff Chief Engineer

- Senior Officer in the engine department
- Chief Engineer’s deputy
- Independent Engine room watch keeping officer
- In charge of safe management of engine room operations and maintenances
Required qualifications and competences:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the capacity of Chief Engineer/Staff Chief Engineer or other relevant experience from the Cruise Industry
- Valid class Chief Engineer license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended
- Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC)
- Good knowledge of the requirements under USPH and USCG
- Great leadership skills
- Great communication skills
- Fluent command in English
- Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability
- Good references
Beneficial experiences:
- Experience from expedition cruise and vessels operating in Artic waters
- Experience from new built and/or site team or project work
- Experience in sailing under NIS flag
- Fluent command in a Scandinavian language
